Hobbits in Games Input

Hey there Lord of the Rings fans!

So in celebration of Hobbit Day, I thought it would be fun to use my own expertise in games and delve into the influence Tolkien has had on the fantasy game genre. Specifically, I want to trace the history and inspiration of hobbits through games. Their progenitor might include halflings and any other variety of short-statured fantasy race.

Specifically, I am interested in what ways their features change over time and what role they play in both the role and the gameplay of the games in which they live. Do you have any favorite "versions of hobbits" in games? Have any input on the idea? Let me know by leaving a comment or a message on my talk page!

New to LOTRO Wiki

Well it was nice to find this Wiki, I accidently fell upon it while doing a search for something entirely different. It seems quite timely as I have been very engrossed in LOTRO for a while now. I mostly play at night as that is the only time I have to do so. Life on the outside is quite tedious and time does not allow for it. I originally started my LOTRO account when my computer was not up to snuff for the graphics so I stopped for a while, Recently I built a quad core with an updated graphics card and when I returned to LOTRO, Middle Earth came alive.
