The White City

The great city of Gondor and Minas Tirith. While Tolkien did not specifically refer to Minas Tirith as The White City, he did use the color white in his description of the city. Aragorn specifically refers to Minas Tirith as The White City in the film adaptation of the Fellowship of the Ring.
